Junior Developer

Job Summary
Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing custom business solutions from end-to-end based on requirements and client needs
  • Developing, testing and deploying database-driven applications using a variety of technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, HTML5, Ajax, Java/J2EE, and SQL
  • Interfacing with the internal business team to define requirements; develop code and unit test your solutions.
  • Leading/participating in design and code reviews
  • Each project will require various technical skills and therefore requires a well-rounded, experienced, and adaptable individual.

Required Experience and Qualifications
Education: BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or a related field

Essential:

  • Programming experience using structured development methodologies
  • Experience in Microsoft .NET (4.0 or higher) using ASP.NET and C#
  • Experience with Microsoft MVC
  • Experience in HTML 5.0/CSS/Javascript/JSON
  • Development experience with the production and consumption XML Web Services, RESTful Web Services
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Design Patterns
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a geographically diverse team

Desirable:

  • Experience with Java/J2EE-based technologies
  • Strong understanding of SQL
  • Strong database skills in Oracle
  • Strong background in building database-driven Windows and Web applications
  • Adept at User Interface design trends and techniques
  • Knowledge of telecom industry and billing/inventory systems a plus
